RE: Drifting Mini-t
i think Hands Without Shadows was referring to what he quoted, particularly about the phrase 'but it was long slides'
drifting is specifically about maneuvering your car thru corners in a way thats not the easiest way (even when theres no corners), whereas its simply easier to make a fast stampede go round a corner in a dirt track with a powerslide... well i think, anyway

oops, it's late and I thought he was replying to the video that was posted. My bad. The video is a drift though because he is sliding the back of the car out while keeping control and not spinning out. Right?
In reply to the "but it was long slides", wouldn't that also be considered drifting in a way. What would be the difference between drifting and a power-slide? I searched for the word power-slide and could not find a definition. I thought all drifting was, was sliding the back of your car out while staying in control, and that rally racers do this through turns to save time.
correct me if i'm wrong.

i'd say, its a drift just because he kept some semblance of control, or appeared to be even if in actuality he lost control, and the car never moved in such a way that we normally associate with a crash in progress

And you all know nothing except how to complain, lol... he gave up on this a long time ago.
I messed up my MR02 a little, so I have to use the other one... can't promise video till I get it dialed, I'll make another topic when that time comes.
