nice.

i just got bearings for my micro-t....i can't wait for the testing to begin!!

so i have the 3 racing 10 bearing set....are the two "tranny" bearings really not needed? where do they go? on the diff?

hmmm....thats what i was told. but i'm not sure if it's worth disassembly to remove bearings and install....bearings.

how would i know which are better? hah...

hey guys,

I'm kinda new to R/C, rite now i'm mugging around with the "Team-Losy" Micro-T. When i surf the net, I found out there is a option part which is made by 3racing. It's the Alu. Oil Damper set. Does anyone try them out? I realy need to know coz they look sooooo tempting to me~~ CHeers!

the whole rear suspension setup including aftermarket dogbones OR CVD's are available...not just stock.

use a magnet and don't give up if you know where it is approximately. but the parts are cheap so you might just buy new parts depending on the availability of them.

and rotten egg - i've heard that vasalene in the stockers works wonders. i havent tried it myself though...but you might give that a few tries. i'm going to soon once i have time to mess with the thing.

thanks for the heads up......I tried putting heavy grease in the stock friction shocks and it does not work....what did work was stronger springs. I robbed to ballpoint pens of the spring and they fit perfectly and stiffen the rear end quite noticeibly. Then I took the rear stock springs and put 'em on the front..works awesome

apparently, you're incorrect. the very ad you linked us to states; "This is not a ball bearing motor, as BB stands for Brass bearing."

sooooo...wouldn't that mean it has brass bushings?

it says they dont have ball bearings, so...is it another type of actual bearing, or is brass bearing just another lamo term for brass bushing...?

Anyone else have trouble putting the losi lipo in the micro-t. The screw bosses for the cover get in the way.

the lipo is bigger than the stocker? do you have a picture? try re-orienting it to see if maybe you have it in the wrong way...

it will fit. you may have to trim a little of the blue. just start with one end, and push the other end in.

I finally got it in. I was holding my tongue on the left side of my mouth instead of the right. Tight fit though.

I also installed the TGN carbon bumper. Pics when I have time.

I always thought that a 'tight fit' was a good thing

Here are some pics of my Micro B with the X-citer body painted by me ....

So far its got the 7.4v LiPo , the Atomic BB motor , the 3 Racing gearbox , and bearings on the wheels .

I also did my own antenna mod from an alloy tube holder I had from my spare parts box .....

awesome stuff, it would be great if you could get some high-res photos, namely of the body, i like it! was it hard to mask off such a tiny body? or did you use a paintbrush?

that's an idea...maybe i'll paint my hilux body, and get a nice bumper for the chassis, then i'll have the perfect prerunner. I'm hoping to get the body drilled and mounted this weekend, i just have to make sure i dont damage the antenna which is showing some wear, and make the proper body fitment. its just about perfect but also has to be placed perfect to line up the wheel wells...or it looks funny.

If you have some extra nitro fuel tubing around you can put 2 or 3 MM pieces on your shocks as preload spacers. That way you can make the springs as hard or soft as you want. I can't remember what page it was but this tip has allready been posted once. I thoght I'd bump it though cause it worked great for me!

Has anyone gotten the losi AC charger yet for the stock batteries? I'm still wondering if they charge in 20 minutes like the DC charger does.

ok...how the heck do these work...i dont see how you could use them?? can someone tell me where they go? let's call them turnbuckle set 1, 2, and 3 from the top down. that means the flat set is set 3.

i'm just curious where they go on the truck... anyone used them? are they good? maybe they go in place of the upper rear links, the front steering rods, and the front upper links? i dont see how all this would work......

how does the steering link one work, since the stock ones use bendy ones and these are solid titanium?
