Here is a better battery. for less.
http://www.cheapbatterypacks.com/mai...er=3&model=419
Only things is if you use this battery you have to convert everything over to Deans micro plugs. And that's a good thing.

Why is it a better battery? Have you tried the one from killerhobbies?

Well, you caught me there on that one, Honestly no, I have not tried the one from killer. However I do not think there are any better 160 cells than KANS, and that is the cells used in the cheapbattertypacks.com pack. Now if Killer is using the KAN cell in, their pack then it is probably just as good. Still, there is the price issue........

Thanks Ron, I guess it's to late now anyway I already ordered two of them. I'll just mess with these until I decide if I want to go lipo or not.

can you cut the 4th wire (orange one) on the stock servo off and then use the servo in a regular receiver?

not that easy man. I'm sure there will be a mod for this though. There was one for the mini t servo. It might be the same....not sure. I use the 2s lipo at 250mah and it rocks this little car.

Hi - My Micro-t had rear end squealing... just 3 days old - about 15 runs - chansed it down to pitting a drop of light oil behind the slipper on the shaft that it spins on - instantly silenced it.

How long of run times do you normally get with the stock battery, thanks? And are there any upgrade motors for it?

I wasn't getting that much maybe 5 to 6 min. Then I started using my ICE charger at 0.20A and started getting close to 10 to 12 min runs.

If you charge at a lower amp setting, you'll get more run time. If you charge at a higher amp setting, you'll get more punch with a reduced run time.

How High C can you charge these stock packs? I was a little hesitant to go above 0.20. I also have some KAN 160 Mil coming from cheapbatterypack.com. How high can I charge those KAN packs?

Yeah OK, I know a micro spektrum Rx for my radio is around a $100. So how much for all the rest of it?

The stock packs are not made of quality cells. Since the stock charger normally takes about 20 minutes to charge the stock pack, I would say it's charging at around .45 amps. I wouldn't go over that for the stock pack! The packs that we sell are Gold Peak and are better quality so you might can get away with a max of .75 amps. I wouldn't do that though since it would severely decrease the life of the cells. The slower you charge these the better. I don't know about the KAN cells, but they are probably similar to the Gold Peak cells.

I got my ammo bl for 30.00 and still looking for good micro esc w/rev. If I find nothing by the time my 2 bluegroove chassis get here you can bet the mamba esc will be shortened up and put in here.

I wanted to get away from the 27MHz AM thing so I ordered one of these with some crystals to use with a JR XR3.
http://www.banebots.com/pc/RC-RX-4/RX-GWS4-PH
Only time will tell how well it will work. I also ordered a Futaba 3101 servo and a Novak SPY. I am staying with the brushed motor.
All this conversion just to get on the 75MHz band is going to cost around $125. Still too much to spend, for an $80.00 car.

Thats the same reciever I got for mine. I got it in 75mhz and got the micro xtal set for it too. I since then bought 4 other GWS recievers for my planes. They are nice and small and are plenty good as far as quality goes. Hope you like it.

I have been using them in planes for a few years, always have worked well for me. First one on 75 band.
