Ive been searching around but am looking for a straight answer. Does anyone know exactly what i need to convert my micro t to brushless and about how much it will cost. I have everything stock except i just picked up th LiPo battery and am loving it. Im just trying to see how much of a hassle it is to convert to brushless. My last question is there any possible way to still use the team losi transmitter that comes with the car and run a brushless motor. Sorry about asking but im looking for some help and a straight answer and what type of transmitter is needed if i can use the one it comes with. After that im going to get the aluminum hop ups. Im trying not to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars though. Thanks a lot.

ok well what you will need it a new

brushless motor
brushless esc (both for 55$)
three wire serv0 (good one 20-30)
3 wire receiver (30-70)
and a transmitter..(60-200)

there is many different receivers, transmitters, and servos that each cost a different amount ranging from high prices to cheap affordable prices..

and what i have heard brushless motors need no maintness unless you maybe get something inside the motor you might need to take it apart or send it in..
but i hear they are very low maintence to no maintence

thanks a lot. i have one more question. have you eperienced this with yours. It never happened before i got the lipo and now with the losi lipo and stock motor every once in a while the car just stops and to get it to go again i have to turn it off and then on. what does this mean. when it stops i cant get it to go again but it still steers the front wheels and moves them.

i have no idea..
you should get the bb motor if you use the lipo because i heard it can handle higher speeds and more volatge..
the motor might be the problem..
it might be the lipo..
maybe you gear mesh..
the tranny..
haha i have no idea..
my best guess is that your stock motor cant handle the voltage and speed..

gt_man it won't cost very much to convert. Maxxin doesn't know what he is talking about

http://www.thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_...9780&cat_name= $30
http://www.thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_...20MICRO%20BAJA $50
TOTAL=$80
Brushless is the way to go IMO. No Brushs to wear out and they are maintance free.

Oh and the Atomic BB motor is not brushless and it also doesn't have bearings. Its just a slight set-up from stock.

thanks guys. so its for sure that you dont have to buy another transmitter. because even in the losi pdf conversion guide it says you have to. so you have to go the motor and esc together. then that other pack is for the receiver and steering servo. so you just swithc out those things and your set right. i hope i can figure that all out looks pretty hard. I can ask the guy at my LHS who helps me a lot but he even told me that you have to change the transmitter

Hey Guys. One more question. Im trying to figure out whether lipo is worth it and still wondering why the car keeps stopping with the new lipo. Is the BB motor worth it? Will my lhs have it? Is there maintenance for the BB motor? How will the BB motor affect the performance of the car and will it fix my sudden stopping problem?

lipo is worth is because it increases speed and runtimes by a lot...
i have the bb motor and i didnt notice much difference untill i got lipo...
the bb motor and lipo vs the stock motor and lipo is big because i honestly think that the bb motor can handle higher amounts of battery power thus making it be able to go faser..
i have had the bb motor and the only thing i have had to do i resolder the wires on it because i was fixing my car and i hit the wire to hard and it came off..
but other than that the bbmotor is techinically a stock motor..
it might fix your problem..

and most lhs's wouldnt carry it..

+1 to maxxin

the BB motor is a little smoother than the stocker and that means less resistance on the motor so faster acceleration and top speed along with longer motor life....
