Either your diff isn't broken in or there is a problem with it. When you turn one wheel the other should spin in the opposite direction and feel very smooth. The diffs in these seem to be very inconsistant.

Did you try to loosen the tranny screws most of the time there just overtightened. Also you should look for hair and other stuff binding the tranny.

yes they do make aluminum main gears, there buy hot racing and let me tell you there great.
i also opened up the tranny and put a bunch of lithium grease on the gears, seems to help. and yes with the stock motor its pretty tight on the ground, with my BB motor its alot better, i can "coast" through turns alot better

Dust is the norm in the gearbox (for me at least).

You can buy aluminum ones or make your own using small zip-ties.

RE: OFFICIAL Team Losi Micro-T thread !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks alot for all your help. when i spin wheel one way the other spins the oppisite way pretty smoothly (it must have been the engine that i was thinking about before).
where and what are the tranny screws?
and when i bought my micro t it came with 2 of those new clear steering links.
also what im trying to do is first upgrade my engine and my battery so when i upgrade to most aluminium components or parts it will be able to move along with ease despite the extra weight. does this sound like a good plan?
assiciatedelectric if you go on ebay and yype in micro t. you will find reinforced steering links that people have made.
have a look.

killerhobbies is where i got my aluminum. and also nitro burner, that does sound like a good idea, i would only buy aluminum parts that you really neeed and keep breaking the stock one of it. otherwise i dont really see the need for them other than looks. also, if you get the bb motor and liop which is a must, GET A WHEELIE BAR you WIlL nedd it.
Update on the rubbermaid chassis: i made amother one (3rds the charm lol) and instead of gluing the parts from the stock chassis, i bought a drill bit to make little tiny holes, overall its about a half inch longer than stock and accomodates my aftermarket parts quite well.

Go figure, as soon as I do the zip tie mod my car glitches and slames into the bottom of my couch and the hub breaks. [sm=disappointed.gif] I can't win.
