Seems pretty crappy from looking at it, ( dont know about performance though) why not get a ESC wih a nice warranty?

Do you think the trinity cobalt brushless motor will work with a quark 22, trinity says the motor needs 25 amps I think. Here are the links-

That esc is very nice for the price. It is very tunable also. It is more limited than the mamba but the price makes up for that. I have one.

If the motor is a 25amp the 22 won't do you much good.

thanks mr.mugen, what motor do you have and how fast do you go/how long are your runtimes?
I have a rc18t, would you reccomend the cobalt motor a good alterative.

I hook it up to a mamba 6800 in a mini t to test it. I never checked run times but it will depend on your set up all together. Like what battery you run, what gearing, how you set up the esc, which servo used, everything will effect your runtime.

what can I expect from that esc and the cobalt motor in a stock rc18t with a 6cell duratrax 1400 battery in terms of speed and runtime? What should be my first upgrades other than the moter and esc? Im thinking titanium or steel turnbuckles, aluminum dogbones, aluminum mount and a different body. Tell me what I should get and not get please![8D]
