Well, I had heard rumors about high speed shifting into second gear stripping the spur gear and it happened to me today. I'm a little bummed because I had ordered a metal spur gear at the same time that I ordered the truggy, anticipating a weak spur gear. That was a week ago and still no spur gear. I just checked my email and my payment was just refunded with the message "your order cannot be processed." So, now I don't know of any place where I can get a metal spur gear (PLEASE, DOES ANYONE KNOW???) and I'm at least two days away from being able to drive this thing again. Bummer! It's so much fun to drive! The hilariously funny thing is that my other nitro is also waiting on a spur gear that was mysteriously out of stock, so I'll have to give my electrics some attention. If anyone knows where to get a metal 30T spur gear (besides meganitro.com) please let me know! Thanks.

All right, Team VTX FOR THE LOVE OF GOD charge us an extra $10.00 for a decent radio tray !!

What have you guys done to replace the radio tray ? Would the trinity Next's tray be a direct drop in ?

Yes the Next tray will fit but no it is not a direct fit you will need to drill holes.

Being new to a particular forum does not mean you are newb to the RC world...

The newb is the person such as yourself who did not notice that I did post the same question under "their" thread RIGHT AFTER they sent me their link !!

I know I probably shouldn't get in the middle of this little war but irish is no were near a "newb". If I am correct he has been in this hobby for many years and knows a lot. He has helped me on this fourm with my Trinity NEXT and nitro engines. Just some of my own $0.02.
