anything with a 12mm hex will fit.. except the mini cooper wheels.. which you will have to dremel some things in order to make it fit..

is this to look good or do they offer some property to make you faster and handle better..

me personally.. nothing against you.. i can careless what the wheels look like.. as long as they do what they are supposed to do and that im in front.. looking good doesnt win races..

Mainly for looks I wanted to use a street tire with the detta. Also the problem I have always had with the solid dish wheels is warping.

Also since I've got your attention. I want to run the XRS ESC and I want to make room by reducing the receiver. Will this one work with the stock servo and controller.

I was just thinking......do the deans plugs improve performance enough to bother with them? (since I'm not upgrading the motor or esc)

Not really. They make a bigger difference when racing and running higher currents. They have lower resistance so they maximize the power. They are also much less likely to fail.

Those will fit. I've seen em at my LHS before. Most 1/10 scale touring rims will fit. Sometimes it doesnt say on the rims what size the hex size is but once you see one you will know if others will fit. Thats a pretty standard size hex.

hey thanks junebug... i actually already ordered the 6x10's from towerhobbies, panther makes them, and i got the 8x12's from www.avidrc.com avid was all out of the 6x10's

i havent gotten them yet, but i got my graphite chassis and diff covers in and tested them out yesterday on the track and it seems great so far but only time will tell..

i was wondering if anyone else has noticed this.... the e-clips that hold the plunger onto the shock shafts partially block the holes in the plunger which would interfere with the movement of oil in the shocks..

i noticed a bigger difference when i put a micro servo in the car compared to the graphite chassis... don't expect huge weight savings... im trying to get my detta to be unbeatable in stock 1/18 classes or any classes where brushless is not allowed, so ill gladly take whatever weight savings i can... functional or not it does look pretty sweet! theres a pic in my gallery, also check out the hex screw kit which im very happy with

if you arent using brushless i hope atleast you are running the timed advanced vr3..

i have a set up sheet with me running the vr3.. i think i was running it with 16/45 not sure.. and it could have been 16/49 but once i dig it up i will post it here.. ,,, but here is a video of it running with that motor

Default RE: OFFICIAL VENDETTA THREAD!!!!!!!!!

ive been so impressed with the vr3 i havent felt the need to advance the timing on it... does it just make the motor accelerate faster, or does it also give it higher rpm? and will it make the motor run hotter than untimed?
