RE: OFFICIAL VENDETTA THREAD!!!!!!!!!
it is a bigger tire.. and the treads are made for racing... i prefer to use the proline crime fighters.. with the proline wheels.. which are made to withstand the totures of racing http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/produc...ducts_id=21720

Aren't ther more motors that have the power to run the vendetta besides the VR3? such as that baja motor for the Mini-t and that Reedy mini max modified motor?

RE: OFFICIAL VENDETTA THREAD!!!!!!!!!
you want a 400 can size motor.. anything smaller will get very very very hot.. the detta is too heavy and the gearing isnt motor friendly..
just go brushless..
just go brushless..

RE: OFFICIAL VENDETTA THREAD!!!!!!!!!
i finally stopped the rear hub hinge pin from moving
with both my buggy and truggy i had a problem with the rear hub pins working htheir way out to the wheels causing the wheels to not turn as freely..
i took the pins out placed them in a dremel.. and turned the dremel on high.. i then used that metal cuting disc and made a groove on each end of the pin. and then i placed an e-clip on there.. and .... no more movement
one less thing i have to worry about while racing

RE: OFFICIAL VENDETTA THREAD!!!!!!!!!
Well, I think I made a boo boo. I ordered the 2.3 mm shaft, since I have all these aluminum pinions laying around. But I have noticed absolutely no wear whatsoever on the aluminum pinions after running the GH 4700 around for about 3 months. I'm sure the Permax will shred it if it's as powerful as you say. Then again, I'm a gear mesh nut, so I always make sure they are meshed properly and lubed.
I'm running Yeah racing Mini Inferno wheels with Proline Crimefighters- they hook up really well. Had a great day at the track- raced 3 stock Vendettas, as well as 3 other Mini-T's. Brought home the wood, but then again, I was racing a bunch of kids. Of course, some of those kids were mine, and are good drivers!!
Thanks for all your help! The Permax should be here tomorrow- I'll let you know how it goes!!!

RE: OFFICIAL VENDETTA THREAD!!!!!!!!!
how do you like that lag thrust the quark gives... lik someone pushes a button AT THE RIGHT TIME..lol..lol.. i love it
also if you are looking for a lil extra traction.. spray the crime fighters with wd40 and let them sit for about 10-15 minutes..
