I'll do it when I'm doing to shock tutorial. I was at the skatepark for 4 hours today so I'm too tired to do it tonight but I'm going to take a break tomorrow.

If I got a Ammo 3900 and ran it on 4 Sub-C cells would I see more speed then stock or should I use the 5100 and 4 cells. I don't want to use 1/18 scale packs because with Sub-C cells it wouldn't be mush heavier and I would be able to get HUGE runtimes. As long as it's faster then stock I'll be good... hopefully around 40mph.

Okay guys my vendetta is back up and running! But I dont know what I want to do with it. I am not into racing yet because motocross takes up all my weekends and atleast 1 or 2 days of my week. So I drive my vendetta in my backyard on a track I built for it, the track is more of a 10th scale track and pretty rough at that. I have been running it all stock exept for ib 1400 batteries. With the buggys size its hard to make a lap or two with out fliping on the track because I have no extra dirt to smooth out the straits and corners. So my question is should I sell my vendetta setup and get a 10th scale buggy or truggie such as a B4 T4 xxx cr or firestorm I know thats a large price range... I have just been thinking maby 1/18 isnt for me because I dont have a good place to run it really and just strictly bashing isnt that much fun to me I like driving tracks. The other option is to put the money I would spend upgrading to 1/10 and get a lot of vendetta upgrades (steel cvds, stiff shock springs, alloy nuckles, sevro hold down, ball diffs, and on and on......). Just wanted to see what you guys thought.
Thanks

No but its not much really I made it smaller today for the vendetta. The ground is still just really rough I mowed the grass strait on the lowest setting I could and it rips down that strait. But on the dirt strait it does okay but man if i get on the bad side of the strait just a lil it starts to wheely and the starts swaping then into some cartwheels. I the suspension as dialed in as I can make it stock and It does awesome on the jumps and the berms. The main problem with the track is there are some big trees over by the section of the yard my dad sed I can use and there are some large roots that stick up about an inch. That is nothing for my friends 1/8 buggy but the vendetta just cant handle them. I live in Texas and here latly it has been raining alot also so i have to wait for the grass to completely dry before driving. If I keep the vendetta should I try 10th scale car tires or half 8 rims and tires. Or just get a 1/10 what would you do. If you think keep the vendetta can you list upgrades needed?

I would say sell it and try a Detta ST. The wider suspension will help on the rough spots.

hey guys I have a question for you. Why do you use ammo 38 for brushless motor up grade? a 20mm inrunner is not enough? are pinions for 2mm shafts? modul? pitch? I'm trying to decide if I buy a vendetta roller or not. I'm not speed freak, normal driving........

Okay I'm keeping the vendetta for a mini I am probly gunna get a 1/10 scale to though. But my mom is picking up half 8 wheels and a tazer 12t at the hobby shop along with some deans conectors. So im back here at the house getting everything redy to solder. My question is can I cut the bullit connecters of the tazer and solder the wires direct to the motor tabs? and how do i get the old solder off the tabs. Im 14 and don't know how to solder or so my brother will be doing it I just want to get it ready for him so I can be back up and running.

Yes that will work it's called hardwiring. I did that for my Detta but I prefer Deans for the motor.

It's fine it's only annoying when they don't use good grammar and try to argue. Is there any BL motor that would give me about 40 mph on 4 cells? I want to use 4 Sub-C cells so I can get HUGE runtimes.

ORIGINAL: integLSdriver

ok well i just checked the vendetta box and it says it comes with a 600 nicd battery and charger and in the pic the battery was red wellll the battery i got with mine was a green 650nimh battery not sure what the charger is tho and yes it was all brand new so i didnt get a diff battery cause it was used. i was lookin at this charger

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXEHB6&P=ML
Anyone have any luck with this battery?

As far as I can tll it is a smaller (maybe 2/3 AA) battery with slightly more capacity than the 600 ma nicad, the 1100 x 2/3 A would be a far better choice. My vendetta st came with this suposed "upgraded battery"

It's a poor choice in my opinion.

the vendetta bugs used to come with a 600mah NIMH
they still are listed that they do come with the 600mah

the vendetta ST has a "upgraded" 650mah NIMH batt

both are not the best

Yea when I got my Elite 1500 battery my Detta became a new car. I hope that Ener-G makes a 2/3A cell. There the best battery for the money in the 1/10 world.

eaw you could get the st arms and pbs knuckles, with half eight tires that is a nice combo.....would only cost 20 bucks, plus wheels. the price of the aluminum buggy knucks.

I'm not going to get the Detta running for a week or two because I had to order a hex. They had the motor and spur but no wheel hex...

Here is my tut on how to mount Team Losi Mini-LST shocks on the Duratrax Vendetta ST. I just did this because I ruined my stock shocks and didn't have $40 for the alloy ones, and because I've had GREAT luck with these shocks.

What you need:
Everything needed to build 4 Mini-LST shocks
[link=https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/seekpart.pl?src=ns&pn=LOSB0950]Plastic shock bodies[/link] Alloy ones will work too.
[link=https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/seekpart.pl?src=ns&pn=LOSB0952]Shock seals and rod ends[/link]
[link=https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/seekpart.pl?src=ns&pn=LOSB0951]Shock shafts[/link] TiNi ones will also work.
4 Springs I used Green in the back and Silver in the Front.
4 3mm screws
4 3mm nuts
Or 8 computer screws
8 Stock shock screws
Fuel tubing

Step one:
Build the shocks
REMEMBER to use a small piece of fuel tubing on the FRONT shocks.
Don't insert the Silver ball in the bottom of the shock

Step 2:
Drill out the shock towers with a 3mm drill
Insert the Computer screw now if your going to use them
Insert the 3mm screw

Step 3:
Mount the plastic shock mount on the 3mm screw or thread it on the computer screw.

Step 4:
Mount shocks as shown

Step 5:
Attach shock tower

Step 6:
Take stock shock screw and put in innermost hole

Step 7:
Then do the outermost hole

Your done!!!

Hope you guys like...
