With some plastic kits, you could do what Hollywood FX companies do to make sci fi vehicles. Cut them up and glue them together in weird configurations.
Because right now, thats looking really cool as a science fiction vehicle! [sm=thumbup.gif]

RE: Mini LST now with Headlight :)
Thanks man. My first thought was to add regular led's to the frame. More for indicators of where the MLST was on the street at night time, since that's usually when I have free time to run it. I saw the ultra bright led flashlight at a hardware store today and was actually going to just rip the leds out of it and wire it up. I was just kind of messing around with it and noticed the flashlight fit pretty well in there so I mounted it with zip ties. I may come back and put chassis leds on it later. An extra benifit is that adding some weight to the front has helped out a ton. I get a lot more traction with my setup now.

Thats a really cool idea. I would love to put a small vid camera on the front of it for first person views of driving. I could probably fit something in there if I found the right setup.

It works really well. Its pretty stiff, but has slight "give" so it hasn't snapped any bumpers, shock towers, etc. It protects for all rollovers. Since I mainly run my mlst on asphalt, rollovers are pretty much the only thing I worry about. It protects very well, even when it rolls to the side. I made sure the cage was just tall enough so that everything between the tires and the cage clear the ground. I works really well. I'm very happy with it.

I've stripped out my first viscous diff yesterday after some hard bashing. I have had at least 20 packs through it before that. I threw one of my stock diffs back in there and it has been holding up fine since then. I'll get a new set of viscous ones in this week.

I originally went with the Losi Ball diff, but it shredded, so I now run the MIP and it works just fine. Havn't had any problems.
