Well, it's there at the front in this shot of all my Xrays together. It's the stealth beastie, er, deliberately all black, I didn't forget to mask the windows, honestly. [sm=red_smile.gif]

PS. The other micro is my 1/18th NITRO touring car the NT18, that thing rips like it has a mamba in it, except I only have to add fuel when it dies.

The cvd's have been changed to genuine xray since this pic...

The m18 on-road is due to be sold off in a week. I need $$$ for a new project...

Why not just post these under the larger picture thread versus separating ourselves? I will get some pictures up of my m18 pro later. I posted them before in another thread however.

I love that car, your body design is superb. Any new bodies lately? I'm not averse to an Xray only thread, myself. Besides it will soon be gone, they're not the most popular of the micro cars...

very nice buggy pvt_pile,

I just ordered some atomic cvd's.

What cvd's did you have before the genuine xray ones? Are the genuine xray ones really that much better?

The ones in the pic are 3-racing. I didn't like them because they weren't exactly straight out of the bag. so when I installed them, I got too much vibration because the cvd's were not correctly balanced.

All the vibrational slop stopped when I dropped in the xray cvd's. they spin very smoothly, and made the buggy a lot quiter.

vendetta has a 370 motor i believe and the power pack includes a 300, so the vendetta prolly is faster

Actually that's a tough comparison to make. The vendetta uses a 380 size motor stock and the M18T uses a 280/300/370 size motors. The major difference is the gear pitch that each vehicle uses. So even if the motors, batteries, and pinions are the same, the gear ratios between the two rides will still be different. Which means one will still be faster than the other based on their final ratios...

Also, the vendetta uses 2.3mm shaft motors, which are usually found on 380/400 size motors. So for brushless options, the normal mamba, tekin options won't work. The esc's are fine, but the motors all have a 2mm shaft (which is too small). That's why a lot of us went to 3.17mm shaft motors (such as the permax 400/4D or Ammo 3900) and RR gears to deal with this issue.... Lastly, with the vendetta's gearing, a lower kv motor in the range of 4000kv-5000kv will be just as fast as a M18T with a mamba 6800kv.

I really don't think you can go wrong with either ride. They are both quality vehicles.

I did a Futurama body for a friend of mine. Unfortunately he hasn't sent me pictures of it mounted yet. I'm particularly proud of the front of it as I got that whole "glowing" back ground that Futurama starts out with.
