Custom 1/36 Scale (Pics)
Ok so i got the idea to make a custom 1/36th scale, and have completed the front end and most of the chassis. I've been working on it for about a day and it will be constructed from Plexiglass Mostly.

Dont get me wrong but it's harder then it looks to make a fully functional truck.. You have to be prepared for the problems along the way. Other than that go for it!

Ok, got the rest of the suspension done minus the shocks and shock towers. Got the stearing linkage done also.

RE: Custom 1/36 Scale (Pics)
Hi there! Good job so far. I am the guy making the 1/64 cars. Aside from the materials you are using, looks great. Id try to use a material with more strength and cut down on sheer mass of the parts. Keep up the good work, have to start somewhere!

Yea this is the first time I've ever completely made a RC car. I'm still working on ideas for wheels.
This is just the prototype, not building it for speed, but building it for functionality. I'm basically looking for where i can make cut-outs to lighten it, and to get better ideas.

It's just some plexiglass. It's strong material and it's pretty hard to crack. Theres probably better materials, but this works fine.
