Default New Losi 'Mini-Monster Baja' Arrived

Anyone else pick one of these up?? Very similar price to the Mini-LST2, all the same specs, but you get the new 'Baja-Beetle' body and you also get a Lithium Polymer (2s 1000mah) pack with charger.

Mine just came this morning, after a few months (about 2) of waiting for it on Pre-Order.

I owned an MLST1 (original) and got rid of it for the fragile diffs, the new version seems to have taken care of MOST if not all of the issues from the original, plus it comes with some new Tech.
Mini-Spektrum System is included too!

Snapped a few pictures on my lunch-break.

Here she is:

Got a Metal Ring/Pinion setup now, which should prove a little more resilient. Would have liked to see the viscous diffs in the new release, but at least it's a step in the right direction.

i like it...its just so hard to spend that much on an electric mini. i want to get another mini but id rather drop 50 more bucks and get another xray nitro mini.

Agreed, it is definitely a pricier mini, but if you shop around you should be able to get it for about 210 shipped.

I paid 205 shipped for mine, brand-new. Still on the higher-end of the Mini Electric Spectrum, but if you consider the goods... It seems like a decent deal.

Includes:
-Mini Monster-Baja Truck
-Losi's 'DSM' Spektrum System
-Lithium Polymer Battery
-Lipo Wall Charger
-ESC

Pretty solid kit. I think the RC18's are going for around 150 with a regular NiMH and a AM radio system!

how long does it take to charge the battery with the wall charger? might consider one. i dont use lipos so i wouldnt want to wait 8-10 hours for it to charge. and i dont want to drop the money on a lipo charger. i have everything needed to get nitros running in no time at all.

I'll update you on charge time this evening, judging by the output of the charger, and the capacity of the Battery, it should take about -- 1hr 15min to charge it completely.

Whoo, it's quick with that lithium battery installed... Also, I DIDN'T have the thermal-shutdown issue I had with my older Mini-LST

All-in-All it seems like a very nice truck. The DSM Radio is a HUGE improvement over the original, it goes significantly further than the original radio that was included with the MLST

The Lithium Charger takes about 1hr give or take about 20 minutes to completely charge the battery. It has a color-changing light to let you know when the battery is done.

Here are a few more of the MMB up close... Took these before I took it out for the first run.

Should give you an idea what to expect!

I just bought one yesterday. This is my first 18th size truck and it is fantastic. I didn't think they ran this fast. The only downside I have so far after beating it up yesterday is the body posts bend easily. Also, does any one have a good shock setup yet as the stock one is way too soft for really good jumping?

Can some one get a photo of the lipo that it comes with? That would be very helpful.
Thanks tmaxx445
