My New 18T Pics
Here's some pics of my 18T...things I have added/changed so far...
DP gear cover (highly recommended!!!)
Proline wabash rims and dirt haug tires
Associated heat sink
RPM front bumper
All connections switched over to Deans
Hitec rx (so I can run my Aggressor SRX radio...HUGE difference)
18B wing mount and home made wing
I am waiting on GPM aluminum shocks, Super Meat street tires (also going on wabash rims dyed black), RPM shock towers and steel turnbuckles.
Anything else anyone would suggest changing/adding. I am also waiting for my lhs to get in a GH steering setup so I can hopefully get rid of some of the slop.

I am really having a hard time holding back and not going brushless...I'll have to try to burn up the stock motor a little quicker...if possible!

RE: My New 18T Pics
Thanks guys. The wing was super easy. I own a tint/sign shop and have tons of stuff just hanging around. The product I used is called Centra (and comes in a tons of colors)...just a rigid plastic that I use for making signs out of, cut out a size that I though looks good, heated the ends up with a geat gun and bent up the corners with 2 metal rulers. Threw some adhesion promotor (aka...stick something to it and it WILL NOT come off!) on the wing and the wing mounts and then stuck it on using double sided 3M automotive tape. Beats spending $10 or whatever a wing costs for the rc18 pus it will never break.

RE: My New 18T Pics
I wouldnt bother with the alloy steering , just get the DP steering link . Its the best hop up you can do for the RC18 .
The RPM towers and a arms are well worth the money IMO , I used to break the rear tower alot from landing on the wing , havent done that since I installed them .
Once you get a brushless system in there you'll wonder why you didnt do it sooner ! Then you'll have to go LiPo and thats when the fun REALLY starts !
Lunsford's turbuckle and ball stud set is really good too , I have not popped one off or bent one since I put them on , expensive but worth it IMO . I tried 3Racings and they bent pretty quickly , the GPM ones were total junk .
Cool looking RC18T BTW , the wing looks good . I am using a DTX Vendetta wing/mount and I shaved the sides down kinda like the wing in your pics , looks more truggy like that way IMO .....
