it might work,, the speed of the motor isnt impressive.. but hopefully the torque and power will balance it out..

How fast do you think it might be? Can I put a diffrent pinion on to maybe get a better top speed?

How fast depends on alot of variebles:

Battery
Gearing
Driving surface

Why did you just put this in the other thread insted of makig a whole new one with the exact same topic.

[&o] eh Ill just stick with the VR3 untill I get cash to do a brushless setup. What are some upgrades the Vendetta ST needs right out of the box? My rear shocks got really soft after I jumped it for a little bit. And my steering is very slow and not as snappy as it used to be. Also can somone link me to some good foams that will work with the vendetta st.

The most common upgrades are steel CVD's, ball differentials, and maybe a hitec steel geared servo (several fit). Aluminum shocks can help if your stock ones leak, and there are different hardness springs. Anything else is usually replace if you break it, there are a lot of aluminum upgrades, but at the price, its usually best to wait til something breaks to replace it. I usually get a stock piece and if it breaks again, then look at aluminum.

tighter steering, and the servo won't get knocked off in a hard crash.

i use the miniquake monster tires when i go bashing
lol
hey jae

when you had your ammo 3900 and mamba 25 did you ever
have it so that well its hard to explain heres what i mean...

when you pull the trigger it is just very slow but when you pick it
up it just goes very fast

it seems like when on ground my detta is just plain dead but once i pick it up
and put it bac down while still having the throttle on it speeds up

i dont know if its "cogging" idk what that is

and should i put the starting power to high

thanks

and it sounds like...
when its slow--- gurgh gurg hlol
when its fast--- like a regualr rc car... like high pitch and well idk lol

so ya can you tell me if you ever had those problems
if so how to fix

i have a castle link coming in the mail

I have been using the stock VR3 and a Dynamite ESC with really good results, and I liked the power, but I think my VR3 is dying. It just doesn't have the power is used to. Do you just spray it out with electric cleaner, or do you let them dye out slowly and in peace?

Also....I did buy the Ammo 5100 (on sale for $33) but I'm not using it due to a loud mesh. In fact, this is the ONLY reason I havn't switched over to brushless is cuz I need it to be quiet. The stock is pretty quiet. I can't have it too loud and squeeky for my backyard track. I only drive at night too. Anyone have a QUIET mesh that's brushless? What's the secret?

I had a neihbor come out and yell at me any my brother I have the Vendetta St and he had a stock mini-t pro. And this was like 3opm afternoon. He was trying to start crap with us because these cars barley make any noice. He said its a liability because these rc cars can kill people and he compared them to RC planes. He threatenend to call the cops on us and we said "Go ahead old man" then he said I am so. So I said "Get back in your appt before I kick the **** out of you" He hasnt said a word since. I can see getting yelled at for a gas rc car but these 1/18th electric cars thats just bs.

just be careful what you say to ppl.. the slightest thing can be mistaken as a terrorist threat..

and for those with loud meshes.. make sure you are using a steel pinion,, that is metric and the spur is brand new..

a worn spur with a new pinion will be lud,, and visa-versa..
