1. Quit typing in Caps...

2. What Losi Model do you have? A Mamba system will work most of the time.

If you get a brushless motor, you need a brushless ESC.

Are you racing in a classed organized league or with friends, either way, do they allow/want brushless motors?

yeah,..I'm racing with my friends.........we run almost every night!!......were wearing out brushes way to fast!!!....thats why we are thinking about brushless motors.........in the long run we think that might be cheaper ...............I know nothing about brushless motors..........we have been racing for more than 30 years!!.........we race rc10's on the clay in the summer,......and just started racing 1/18 mini sliders in my buddys garage......for the winter.........we want to get something equivelent to 17,18,19 turn brush motors?....Thanks,..............Al.....

You'll want something like a mamba 5400 or 4200. Those are the two closest motors to the rpms you want. A micro mod 17T will have around 30-35K rpms at 7.2v. The mamba 4200 will do 30,240rpms @ 7.2v and the 5400 will do 38,880 @ 7.2v (all with no load... of course).
