RE: Brushless means less runtime?
the micro t doesn't get long run times. Stock motor and battery gets about 5 minutes. The stock motor and lipo battery from losi gets about 10 min.

RE: Brushless means less runtime?
I have a mini baja and i only get like 10 minutes stock. My friend Dime666 has a micro t and he upgraded the engine and got a new battery i think, anyways he gets like 15-20 minutes.

RE: Brushless means less runtime?
it depends on how you drive it. brushless is more efficient, so if you drive it the same speed as brushed, it will last longer. But with brushless you also get more power and speed, and if you use the extra power and speed, that will shorten run time, but it should still be better than brushed unless you have the way wrong gearing and/or KV....

I just want something that lasts longer(motor, and battery life) and has more acceleration. I think brushless might be the way to go?

RE: Brushless means less runtime?
just get the losi lipo battery and charger and bearings. I get soo much more speed and runtime with that. With brushless, you will have to get a new receiver, servo, brushless esc, brushless motor, and then you still need bearings/new battery
