the brushless setup on it's own will cost about $100
there's only one or two trucks that come brushless, trinity next/now.. something like that and there's one other one

Define fast. A stock brushed MQ does what? Like 25mph out of the box? A Traxxas Rustler (not 1/18, but you made the same thread in 1/10) will do 30 mph out of the box.
