Now that we've ordered 4 XRAY NT18MTs, I'm wondering what parts we should keep on hand for all-day runs. For those who already own NT18MTs, are there parts that break more often than others? I'm familiar with XRAY's quality so I think we'll be fine, but I figured I would ask those who've been there.

I don't have the nitro, but considering the electric and nitro use the same front/rear ends, this may help. The front upper arms and knuckles are the most prone to breaking. I'd also keep spares of all the arms if you can. 1 or 2 sets should be enough for all four of your trucks. I don't know if the nitros use the composite universals, but if they do, those should be upgraded. lastly, the usual wear and tear items like tires, bearings, spurs, etc...

i havent had to many issues with mine. i saw the weak link to be the servo saver and servo horm from jumping it and bad landings. 3-4ft jumps are a little to bigg for this truck to take a bad landing

i just had mine out jumping and bashing pretty hard and after hitting the curb a bunch and a 15 cartwheel landing i broke the front right a-arm

no problem. i love the engines on these nitros. so easy to tune and get started. im also looking into a choas buggy since there onli 99 bucks at amainhobbies.com right now. my xray will be out of comission for 4 days til parts come in at my lhs. wheni pick these up im ordering a complete set of a-arms just to have back ups since im out and servo savers since there hard to get

ok thanks i just may do that. since your a dealer you might be able to awnser me a ?. is there any servo horn that will fit a hitec 81mg? do you have a website?

The Xray Micro servo saver has a spline adapter that fits the 81mg. Its the one marked "X"

i have the hitec 81's in my truck already. i was just wondering if there was a servo arm that was aluminum for it. when it broke the first time thats what broke. so i had to order the servo saver to get the servo arm. so now i have 3 servo savers and no arms left

I just checked the XRAY price list and they do not have an aluminum version of the servo arm. We are building a website right now, but it is for our [link=http://www.rcglowplugs.com]RC glow plug store[/link]. I did just buy a domain for a future XRAY online store (RCXRAY.com), however RCGlowPlugs.com will have to be established before we start on it. Until then, we can take your XRAY orders manually. It will be tough to beat our XRAY prices.

It also wouldnt hurt to have a extra clutch bell and spur gear, When those get broken it seems like you can never find one when you need it.

Better a broken servo arm than a $20 servo metal gear set.

if servo arms were easy to get i wouldnt mind it. i kan just run down the lhs and get servo gear sets or evena new servo if needed. they just dont stock the servo arms or the servo saver pack
