Default Just ordered a micro Desert Truck!!

I was just wondering if anyone had any advice for a brand new Losi micro desert truck owner. I'm mostly used to nitro and this is my first electric. Is there any type of break in process or other things i need to do to my desert truck before letting it rip?

Thanks,
Defm

All you need to do is put batteries in the remote and charge the battery for the car. Them you drive.

1st charge- ran for about 30 seconds
2nd- about 2 minutes
3rd- about 8 minutes
4th- it is currently charging
handles good and pulls wheelies right out of the box i love mine so far because its snowing outside so i cant run nitro but i can run this one inside so its really nice and i didnt break mine in at all idk if you need to or what.....

You need to put bearings in there. Make sure you get the atomic ones or atleast a set that comes with 10 in total which include 2 for the differential as well as the 8 for the wheels. Other than that a Lipo upgrade kit makes the thing fly.

Cool I didn't know they only lasted 30 seconds the first charge, I'm glad you told me that I would be freakin out Bearings and Lipo are coming someday soon but for now I need to save my money.

The bearings make the biggest difference.

with the stock battery take it off of the car along with the motor and charge battery. then put the motor under water, plug the battery straight into the motor let run for about two min. then dry with paper dowel best you can, then spray motor spray in it and let sit for 15 min in front of a fan. then put some kind of light oil on the ends bushings. put back together in car. than you have a faster more powerful motor. then add lipo and your off!!! (its called the water dip method.) don't have the motor plugged into your car when running motor under water you will fry the esc.
