since I burnt up a brushed motor (after having a sting of bad luck with them), I am consideirng taking the plunge and going brushless, BUT, for the life of me, I can't figure out wether it comes with the software and cable (it better), or not (me, mad), just currious, that is all, BTW, who has the cheapest price since i MAY want to price match it at my LHS, will see though[8D]

You can download the program. When you buy the Castle Link it also comes with the program.

yeah, that is an option, I coudl maybe also use one of my cammera cables if it fits, yeah, kindof a bummer it doesn't come with it, got a link??? thanks for the fast replies, WOW

Then the part with the wires coming out has a plug that connects to the ESC.

ok, that is a little annoing on the mini version how you have to disconect the reciever wires, just to program it[], well still looks interesitg, how hard is it to set the throttle curves.....

Once you have the program it is real easy to set the throttle and brake curves.

definatley, gotten stuff from them before, GREAT SHIPPING, I hated tower's shipping, they wanted $9 to ship out a 1400 pack (sub c), antenna tube, and turnbuckles, what a joke, and their checkout was confusing.... YIKES, ok, back on subject, I can't deicde wether to GET a brushless, or, not since i am also CONSIDERING a nitro, lol, so, hard call, I got enough to get one, lol, let us see total price

you can program the esc with the transmiter, you do not need the link.just follow the directions and take your time
