Want to make RC18T wheelie, how to set up?
Is it possible to make my 18T a wheelie machine. I have a 6800 mamba in it, I'm running a 60 spur and 13 tooth pinion with stock tires. What do I need to do to make this thing wheelie from a stand still. I want it to wheelie on carpet if possible.
I forgot to mention I have 7.2 volt and 8.4 volt batteries at this time, I'm going to build some A123 packs with the black and decker vpx packs when I have a chance.
Thanks,

Tighten the rear diff, and make sure to shim them so they don't die. If you think the diffs are strong enough, you could set your mamba's throttle curve to kick in more power at the start. A lipo would help too since it would lighten your truck and have more punch.

Apogee 2s lipos, and tigheten your rear diff all the way, then back it off 1/2 of a turn. Oh, and shim ur diffs REALLY well, otherwise they will just shred on u...

I'm not sure because I'm new to this car. I have the same Mamba set up with a two cell lipo, and when my gearing was stock it did do wheelies. It actually flipped itself over onto it's roof a couple of times. I'm not sure what the stock ratios are, but now I'm running a 15 tooth pinion with the stock spur and it won't wheelie anymore...may have to go back to the stock set up! [&o]
