Default what do I need to go brushless?

I wanna go brushless in my mini-t. I'm thinking about going with the mamba max 6800 and I was wondering what else do I need to replace to run the brushless besides the receiver?

thanks

I'm sure you know this, but just make sure you get the speed controller also. Nothing else is needed.

You're talking two different things. The only thing you absolutely have to have is the receiver and brushless combo. If you can practice restraint and drive within your limits you don't need anything else. You may start braking things here and there, but I'd just replace them with an upgraded part as needed.

You will want to get either the Losi ball diff or the MIP ball diff.

O.k if your running stock electronics now then you will need a new servo and receiver, but other than that I have seen the dual disc slipper recommended for running brushless

btw in a mini-t you will probably want a mamba 25 not the mamba max.

You only need the servo if you running stock electronics now, because the stock one has a 4 wire plug and standard (mini size for mini-t) servos have 3.

oh and don't forget the mamba 25 not the max not only is it less expensive but you have a hard time fitting the max in the truck.

srry, forgot to introduce myself in the first post so second post!

Oh yeah, forgot about that funky 4-wire servo. So add a servo to the list.

when you talking about stock electronics your talking about the reciever and ese right, because you cant run the stock ese and receiver with the mamba motor.

Kinda new to 1/18 scale.....but I have a pro-pulse I've gone brusless with...and all ya need is the esc/motor. Why would you have to change the reciever on the Mini-T ?

Because a stock Mini-T comes with a ESC/Receiver combo (it is all one unit).
