That's good because I really want one and I'm NOT going to spend $200 on that. I would spend around $110 maybe $150. They need to make it completive with Micro-T prices.

RE: Kyosho Dnano 1/43
I could see the car being $80...but you still need the Radio/battery/charger...guessing another $80. off topic I saw one of those new 2.4GHz mini-z's go for $320 on ebay today....stupid people. This car should be better then the micro-t and from what I was told by an inside source they should be fo sale in 3-4 months. Sorry I don't have a link it was in an email.

From what the website released this morning this thing is not cheap, complete car around $160 and the charger battery tx combo $110.
Really cool but looking to msrp at around $270 to get one running.

Coreless motors, gyros, and the CORE Lap counting system... These sound great! Really afraid of the final price.

I can tell you that the starter kit in the UK will be £150
That means in the U.S it will be about $160!

I think and believe the smaller a rc toy is the higher the price. some people might see at as less mass, less cash to produce. When it is exactly the opposite. What a suspension arm costs to tool for a 1/10 scale car is most likely going to be 10 times that amount to produce for this car at such a small scale. Tooling is a B*#@* for cost and kills your budget!

I had fun driving them around at the NRHSA Table-Top Expo. Fun little cars, very responsive, and fast. It's also my understanding that Ko Propo will have a module that will work with the Dnano. However, I don't know if any of the other transmitter companies will follow though it would be nice.
