The NEXT is a nice setup. The only thing I'm not liking is the 8.3mm wheel hexes, which locks you into their one wheel / tire selection.
You can also get 12mm hex adapters for it .

RE: trinity next VS. Sportwerks chaos
i just got a next on a quick decision at the lhs. i ran it for about an hour today and had a ball. i havent broken anything on it yet, so i cant speak for durability. i did put it through some harsh offroad stuff and it seemed like it took it like a champ. it is considerably larger than the 1/18th stuff, it's heavier and i doesnt seem like a "toy" like my 18 t does. i know the aftermarket is lacking, but its fun and fast.

Good to hear, since I just bought one.
Thanks for the advice on the Inferno ST wheels. Does this mean MLST wheels will fit it, too?

Neither...........
The Chaos has diff problems.................
The Trinity is hard to get parts for................
Spend the extra money and get a KMI 09 or 09ST......................

You can find parts for the NEXT..
But for $20 Less you can get a KMI 09 or ST from A Main Hobbies. Thats about $200 and since it over $100 you get free shipping

Not sure , I would like to try a set of the King Pins or those Mini Zombie Max tires . The 3 racing pin tires work great though , plenty of traction .

I have tired MLST tires on my Next.. They fit fine but when the rear suspension is pre-loaded the tires touch the turnbuckles. I didn't have a problem with the front though.
Since the tires are so much bigger than the stock tires it does stress the gears a lot, so I would be carefull.
