haha good idea... or he can get the 09 and you can upgrade your motor...so you can officially say that you beat a nitro with your electric..
i think it would be kool...he can get the 18b for birthday..
hey but yeah dud get an rc18t/b..
they are very good cars.. very reliable and fast!
great aftermarket support and the parts are soo cheap!!
also its not the same hassle as it would be for a nitro...
gas is now 30$ a gallon!

RE: 1/18 scale track
wow thats insane now...butt about the 09 and the 18b..
pros about 18b:
Ready to go
super fast out of the box
great for racing with neighbors right near fence
cons:
not as fast as nitro
gotta charge batteries
Pros about 09:
faster then 18b
good off road racer
can race anytime (dont gotta wait for batteries to charge)
Cons:
Loud for racing in neighborhood
gotta spend money on gas
tuning can be a pain
lot more money
messy
anything i miss on both cars?

haha yeah.. i think the electric is better...
because you can buy two batteries and while you are running one the other is charging..
well get a good charger so it chargers in 30 minutes..

RE: 1/18 scale track
Here is my Track. Me and my friend used to race on it but he traded me his Mini-T and now he only has 1/10 so I'm trying to find him a good deal on a RC18T. When I get back from vacation I'm going to have to clean it because there is some grass growing on it. We are also making a 1/10 track at my friends house and I'm going to race his Pede with my RC18T and win like I did with my Mini-T. It was my First time driving on a track and he's been there at least 10 times and I lapped him. I even had a new motor/battery/tires/ and a new shock set-up.

Yea, my track is coming along, me and my parents have said screw it and were going to bring in a truck full of top soil clayish mix, should be really easy to make jumps and build it up.

RE: 1/18 scale track
Anyone ever do portable parking lot tracks? Me and a co-worker are working on it now. So far we've acquired some of those little cardboard mini-t jumps, some bottles(to be used as cones w/ sand in bottom obv) and some ideas. Im looking to get ahold of those little road-dot land-mine things. Not that **** through road-dome where they're 6 a piece. Thats stupidly overpriced and they look too small. I would also like to get ahold of a little plastic skate ramp(the wal-mart style) and maybe some other portable items. Any ideas where to get the domes/other fun and portable obstacles.

There i one problem with jumps and car parks, you kill your car if you don't land perfect.
I have been running my mini-t up and down the road, without jumps and have put holes in my newly painted shell[:'(].

^i have several bodies that i really dont care about, and stock pre-painteds are cheap ha. My only concern is that if you get chassis slap it realy messes you up ha.

I wish i had that privilege. I wanted a custom one, so painted a clear stock one.
I have chunks missing out the rear of my chassis.[&o]
