Default Best 1/18th for $120

Well I need a 1/18th for a teenager. I have $120, he really liked my propulse with aftermarket electronics custom battery pack and charger so i want to get something that will go about the same speed as my propulse. I was looking at the mini lst and mini t at Amainhobbies and they are 99 dollars and I could get the losi quick charger and great a fast little bugger. Any opinions?

Go for the T as you could run into problems with the diff's in the mini lst!

You can get them off ebay for 60 bucks from some guy. thats where I got my original propulse then I got a second propulse from another guy. I am thinking about getting a nother propulse because then I can give him any replacement parts if I ever had to.

Go with a duratrax vendetta. You could easily get one off of ebay brand new for $100 and still have 30 for a better battery.

I would get a mini lst for $99, thats a great deal. The diffs can be problematic, but if you keep it stock you should be ok, and if not you can always replace the plastic gears with metal mlst2 gears for $12, they drop right in.... I just bought my mini monster baja before they mini lst's dropped to $99.... I wish I would have waited and got 2 mini lst's for less than I paid for the MMB!

I'd go with the Mini LST, I love mine (1/18th Raminator, same thing) and $99 for one is a great deal. The diffs can be a problem, but they're really cheap and easy to upgrade. Also The Synthesized FM radio and separate Receiver/ESC with the Mini LST is much better than the AM radio with combined reciever/ESC that the Mini T comes with.

I personally don't think you should be licking/eating the inside of your body anyway!

I would say the XTM rage would be a good choice, even though you already decided.
