Best Brushed moter for Mini-t with stock ESC
i am wondering what is the best Moter (Price over performance wise) that is ok for the stock ESC with a 6 cell batt

if your looking for a cheap motor get a GWS EM350 and advance the timing. Its the same as a Graupner Speed 300. Tower Hobbies has them for $10. I can keep up with a 5400kv brushless mamba system with my mini t.

The mamba brushless is just out of my budget..
i want the fastest brushed micro motor for my mini t
ive looked at
trinity cobalt 18 14t 36.99 not avialable till mid jun 2009
Associated reedy Mini Mod 17T 32.99
Associated Mini-Mod 19T 39.99
yet i still feel theres more left out
The mamba brushless is just out of my budget..

and will the 14t even be compatible with the stock esc? ive heard they worked just fine...

the 14t cobolt is an awsome motor but it may be alittle to much for the stock esc i dont know about the stump puller but read it is nice i do know the orion baja's are great good power and run time but also with the orion baja you need robinson pinions or run plastick hope that helps

the baja is compatable with the stock esc if thats what you ment we a stock mini t with the baja for a while and it worked pretty good nice speed good power and good run time,s as for the 14t cobolt i do not know for sure about compatability with the stock mini t esc rx combo it is a very strong motor and very punchy i would say it runs about as strong as a 6800 kv brushless gearing and volts being the same but it may fry the esc plus i doubt the stock esc has enough to really utalize all the the cobolts awsomeness LoL sorry im terribale at explaining things

Pick up the stock motor out of the losi mini baja's. They are like 12 dollars on ebay. They are nearly identical to the orion baja motor and dont cost near as much.

they do look the same but my stocker burnt up in a day and the baja is still going strong same voltage and same gearing just my 2 cents

The venom 370 fireball is a good motor, pretty fast too. I've had very good results with them.

aight im going to experiment with the 17 t reedy mini mod, hope it works with the stock esc. the trinity cobalt says you have to use an aftermarket esc...it comes 16t and 14t. hopefully though ill switch to brushless in the summer.

i put in the mini mod 17 t and a lipo in my mini t (just got it wednesday may 13th from amain), was runnning great for about 15 minutes.esc wasnt getting hot or anything. i then for some reason disconnected it from the esc and plugged it in the stock motor and played for a while wasnt that great.. put it in reedy mini mod 17t and ON ACCIDENT i got mixed up on the red/black connection majiga.. i turned on transmitter esc... throttle aint working![X(][X(]servo is though. i gues ima be hitting up th team losi support team. what a great 15 minuted that was.
