im running all 6 cell batteries and i want to get an 8 cell but i heard you have to change the LVC

and right now im pretty sure it set at Ni-Mh Normal..
i think i need Ni-Mh High

becase the guy that previoulsy owned it said that if i use an eight cell battery i have to set the LVC to 8 cells...

and next to Ni-Mh High it says " Select when the battery is compatible with the voltage in use.Faster throttle response time and increased torque compared to Ni-Mh Normal is selected."

i dont get it...

I did not read anything in the manual about a LVC for NIMH batteries. I have used mine with the same setting for 6 and 7 cell NIMH packs with out any problems. The only time that I have used the LVC is for Lipo batteries.

The only reason there is a LVC on the Quark is for whne you are using lipos, if you didn't have the LVC then you could seriously damage the lipos.

Nope, the Quark doesn't not support brushed motors.

I would try it and see.

When running 6-7 cells on my quark there was no difference in how it operated, so I would assume that there won't be any difference if you were to run 8 cells.

it is battery selections.. the choices i have are manual, lipoly high, lipoly normal, nimh high, and nimh normal..
it says that next to nimh high..

You'll be fine running 8 cells on NiMH normal.
