Suggestions on 1/16 - 1/18 electric
Normally I like to read tons on these forums to help me decide on a vehichle to purchase but forgive me as I am feeling a bit lazy today. What are some of the better vehicles out for 1/16-1/18 electric. Im new to electric and have no idea what would work for me. Im looking for RTR, would like the option to go brushless down the road if I choose to, 4WD and no more then $200. Thanks for any feedback you can give!

On-road or Off-road? You have many option's to choose from. I have a Xray M18 on-road. And RC18r brushless. It's simple to change it from rally to buggy to truck.Depending on your driving preference..Hope this help's

How MUCH off-roading do you plan to do? If the terrain is really rough or you plan to run on grass, then get a Monster truck like the M18MT, XTM Rage, Vendetta ST, Mini Quake, RC18MT, MLST2, Mini Monster Baja, etc...
My favorites are the M18MT and Vendetta ST.

next month XTM will be selling the alloy parts for the RAGE... this vehicle is awesome... the drive train alone makes this mini worth buying,,, very strong and can withstand the totures of poweful brushless motors....
it also comes stock with steel cvd's
but if you want a race ready mini ,,, look into the vendetta..... there are plenty videos of this VEHICLE on both youtube and google.....
there is also a thread in this forum dedicated to vendetta videos... check it out

If you think you'll be off-road all the time, I recommend the [link=http://www.rcxray.com/m18mt-rtr]XRAY M18MT RTR[/link] as well. If you plan on going back and forth between on-road and off-road, then you should look at the [link=http://www.rcxray.com/m18t-rtr]XRAY M18T RTR[/link]. Both of these RC trucks convert to brushless well. We sell both of these kits for $225 with free shipping. It might be tough to find them for less than $200, but you should check eBay. You'll definitely be happy with either of these options. Good luck.
One last thing. If you choose one of these options, just remember that you can pick between 4 different pre-painted bodies. The colors come in red, orange, green and blue. See photo below (ignore the NT18MT in the image, it just shows the body design).
