RC18R built from scratch.. details below

Kamino body with Vendetta wing mounted on rc18B wing mounts which are glued to body
8900Kv motor + generic 30A brushless programmable ESC
15/60 gearing (60T spur kinda wimpy, but it was all I had after I burned up my last 55t and it helps keep the heat down while running 3s lipos)
10th scale servo mod
MIP - cvds
DP - gear cover and draglink
3racing - shocks, titanium turnbuckles, and pre-fab tires/wheels
Exotek - shock towers
2s and 3s lipo - depending on what kind of driving I want to do.. it goes about 60 on the 3s but the motor gets pretty hot.
Spektrum - sr3000 RX
also has alloy front steering knuckle and a-arms. (I don't like alloy a-arms but I had them so decided to use them)

I saw a Kamino body on ebay which was black and yellow like this which inspired me to try a 2-tone paint job.. my first attempt it came out ok.. I have always liked Lancer's yellow lancer (we know each other from one18th.com) so have been wanting to try yellow, but not 100%... so this was a fun expirement. I am waiting for my gold wheel nuts to come in now.

It now has foam tires, 8 cell battery pack (custom), Spektrum RX, a Cyclon ESC (Purple heat sink on it too) the motor is a Hacker 4900KV (which you can see is purple too) and not on part is stock on the car. I still don't have a body for it sadly.

Yup, and it's really hard to find on like that. I took me a while to find all the parts to finish it. I did a speed run of it on the weekend with it, and I clocked it at +40MPH.
