i upgraded my vulcan with a 2 speed tranny... its kinda hard to setup as it changes everytime I run my car.. kinda strange
I have already opened the darn thing and check what makes it tick... Its not a clutch type... it has somekind of catch that lock on the screws bolted on the gear.... not a good design i guess...

THe main problem is the small spring than hold that locking mechanism.. When i start running the car.. it holds okay.. but as you run longer.. the shifting become shorter... during just in a single run you will have to make adjustments on the 2 speed...

has anyone had a chance to fix this problem?

ah yeah.. there is another thing.. if you get the timing wrong on the 2 speed.. and shift longer.. there is a tendency to break the spur gear... I had broken 3 already.. just because of the wrong shifting...

got the 2 speed up and running.. need a real heck of tuning to get it to shift right... hehehe.. the toki motor has good power.. not close to a Picco Zero but did its job well with the 2 speed... tried to take some vids.. but it was a little late. kinda dark... ill try to take some tomorrow morning... see if the Vulcan will have a good run...



the metal gears really hold well... no more stripping problems....

yes finaly got the power on my Vulcan... 2 speed is working better... darn this little buggy goes really fast....
just finished breaking in.. got 5 tanks already... better try to push the this little engine...

whats with wire support for spoiler?

ah... just moved the wing a little far back.. as the stock holders kinda gets in the way of the shocks...
