Does this motor look broken?
I guess this motor doesn't work do you see a reason why? Is the shrink wrap supposed to go into the can? or does it stop just shy of the can? Can somebody confirm this if you have a mamba 6800kv motor handy. Thanks

It really makes no difference. It comes with the heatshrink going into the can. Once it leaves the can it wont go back in properly. If you are worried about fraying you could hit the openining with a dab of hot glue.

So are you saying that a motor that has the shrink wrap pulled back could still function? Can the motor wires short out on each other?

Just make sure the insulation hasn't wore off the wires and put a dab of hot melt glue on it if you are worried about it. Of course bare wires can short against each other. If there are bare wires exposed...then cover them up.

RE: Does this motor look broken?
Thanks everyone I think this guy is yanking my chain I traded him and when he got the motor he said it did not work. But I am 100% sure that it worked when I sent it. I am going to send him 30.00 to get Castle to send him a replacement. But my gut feeling is he thought it was messed up tried to fix it and made it worse so now he is trying to get me to fix it. But I am a man of my word so I will make it right but karma will bite you in the *****. So thank you so much for your advice.
