RE: Radar Gun?
I had the the hot wheels one. It sucked, I couldnt get to close enough to the car to get a reading. I was using it with a 3.3 4tech so I am guessing it would be even harder to get a 1/18 to register.

I think bushnell makes one that is reasonably priced, but its like $80 or something.
You get what you pay for.

I got mine from opticsplanet.com couple of years ago. $80+, pretty cool. you can use it on baseball, vollyball, checking how fast your neighbor driving down the street.
Here is the link:

RE: Radar Gun?
Have anyone here tried to clock your RC with a “Hot Wheels” or Bushnell(low end) radar gun before with reasonable accuracy. From what I read on the reviews, they seem to be reasonably accurate on large objects such as full scale cars or bicycles. However, many reviews I have read so far (except for “Juggs”) seem to have a problem with small objects such as a baseball.
So who has actually used one and got accurate results?
