RE: OFFICIAL MINI E-REVO THREAD!!!
Everybodies too busy seeing how many batts in series thay can run. I hope to get another set of springs by this weekend and I'll post a video of one running at track type area. It's a kids BMX homemade track. I'll be running two 1600 Nimhs in parallel. So it will be a bit heavy.

Here’s a little bit of modding I did to the body of my mini revo. This helps a lot with keeping things cool under the body. Enjoy and please let me know what you think!

The Mini Giant was a Venom product. I bought this for my kids 4-6years ago when the 1/16th scale vehicles first came out.

where did you find a $20 LVC?

If you are going to go 4 cell, you MUST use an external cutoff. You only need one and can get it for about $20, so why not?

(In case you havent heard of them, Commonsenserc is a great store with great products and batteries.... they cater more to the air side of RC, so most car guys dont know about them. I get all my plane lipos from them and have never had an issue)
On a side note, just recived my mini, battery is charging right now....

The batteries are great. Ran 3 of the packs! Had to let the motor and esc cool during the runs(about 15 mins in per run the motor and esc get to about 160° and that even with a 27tooth pinion). The lightmax batteries put out more power than the eflite 2100 20c batteries do. I think I got a good deal! The only thing is that you have to cut a little off the door to get the wires to exit.

RE: OFFICIAL MINI E-REVO THREAD!!!
New questions. Mine should arrive in a week. What are the weak links? What should I expect to break? Will dust in the brushless motor or gearboxes cause it to fail?I plan to run only a pair of 1600 nimh batteries. Are thee any good aftermarket parts available yet? What color will my channel 5 be?Do the battery doors open with the body on?

I bought extra tires (youl'll pay for the handfuls of throttle)
I bought extra body mounts (you'll pay for those front/back flips without a wheelie bar)
I bought extra Lipo batts
I bought an extra wing mount
I bought an extra spur gear
I bought bent body clips
I bought a 380 can Heatsink & fan
