RE: OFFICIAL MINI E-REVO THREAD!!!
Hobbyking has a lot of batteries, I´ve been buying almost everything from them, no problem so far.
Just use the battery search tool [link]http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/lithium_polymer_battery_configuration.asp[/link]
The zippy ones are very good and cheap...

Damn this thing is amazing. I just got mine today and charger up the stock battery and changed to the "speed" pinion and damn it was flying through my front lawn like no tomorrow. I think the R/C car is a winner.

RE: OFFICIAL MINI E-REVO THREAD!!!
I could use that battery. E mail me or pm me. As far as the mini revo it is the most awsome thing i have ever owned. I have been running a 3 cell lipo on mine and if i knew how to do vidos you can be running about 5 to 10 mph and punch it and it will do a complete back flip. As far as durable this thing is tough. I have only broke the rear bulk head but that was to be expected. I had a ramp set up and got at least 8 foot in the air and came down on the back bumber. All you guys that are waiting on yours just wait. I guarantee that it will be the most awsome truck you have ever ran. As far as handling its not as good as the full size one because its not as wide but its not bad. But i do need that other traxxas pack.

RE: OFFICIAL MINI E-REVO THREAD!!!
So i wanna have mini revo but right now i can`t buy becouse i have to pay to many bills... so i wanna trade 2 of my brushless cars for 1, yes thats right.. i will give 2 cars for mini revo
Mini revo must be in very good condition.
So the deal is:
1.st Duratrax Vendetta ST: Brushless: Mamba micro pro + 4400kv brushless motor + tuning parts(bal diff, Steel CV SHAFT Axle and many more) alot of extra parts
2.nd TA 18R Brushless: ESC:EZrun 35AMP + program card+ motor: mamba 6800kv + stock battery and again extra parts
Vendetta need from: Transmiter+receiver+ battery
TA 18R need from:Transmiter+receiver+servo(have stock servo but have some problem, maybe it`s easy for repair, i will include stock servo too)
Is somebody have interest and want pictures please write me pm.

RE: OFFICIAL MINI E-REVO THREAD!!!
Could you guys please give me some specs on the Wheels/tires for the Mini E-revo?
I'm looking for how they mount and what size shaft or hex adapter they have.
Also please provide the wheel/tire dimensions. Diameter, width.
Thanks

Personally I'd spend more money & get something with better customer service. A comapny I've had a great experience with is Pro Match Batteries. I don't believe they have a 1/16th Lipo, but I'm sure they'll have one soon.

RE: OFFICIAL MINI E-REVO THREAD!!!
Thanks for the reply guys. I found out for myself that the wheels are 12mm hex.
By the way. I have bought quite a few batteries from hobbycity same as site mentioned above and I have NEVER had a problem with any of mine. I have bought the Rhino 2s and the Zippy Flightmax 3s. I have had some of these batteries for several seasons of running them and they hold up GREAT. I also know a BUNCH of other people that buy from there and none of them have ever complained.
So don't let one or two bad reviews change your mind.
I have seen plenty of Parkzone, Hobbyzone, Traxxax, Duratrax, Elite, and other name brand products have plenty of problems.

wow you waited a whole 12 hours and no one replied? You poor little guy, are you OK? need a cookie? How about a hug?...
Its funny that people get all pissed off when they dont get an answer in 5 min..... 12 hours, lets see, sleep 8 hours, get up, 1 hour, go to work 8-10 hours, get home and relax for a bit 1-2 hours, dinner 1 hour, hmm, thats 23 hours, so if you dont post during the 1 hour most people have time to log on and check the board, you are going to be waiting a least a day. dont whine when it takes a while, its called a message board, not an instant answer machine.....

Sorry, I've been pretty good about answering questions pretty quick. I guess I was an ass to expect the same of others. I also now realize I am probably in a thread with a bunch of kids.

RE: OFFICIAL MINI E-REVO THREAD!!!
I'm sure this has been posted throughout the thread a few times...BUT, I do not have the time to go through all 36 pages of it, so if someone could please shed some light on my questions, then that would be greatly appreciated.
I would prefer trusted ebay sites if possible, but I found some items from thetoyz.com that someone posted.
What is the "best" wheelie bar out there for this little truck? I am running 2 1700mah batteries in series with the stock pinion (only on smooth roads), just to give you an idea of what kind of power is being put down. Opinions on these? [link=http://www.thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_details.lasso?id=12127&cat_name=MINI%20E%20REVO]one[/link] [link=http://www.thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_details.lasso?id=12064&cat_name=MINI%20E%20REVO]two[/link] [link=http://www.thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_details.lasso?id=12178&cat_name=MINI%20E%20REVO]three[/link] [link=http://www.thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_details.lasso?id=12126&cat_name=MINI%20E%20REVO]four[/link]
Also, what is a heat-sink that does the it's job well and doesn't cost too much? [link=http://www.thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_details.lasso?id=12172&cat_name=MINI%20E%20REVO]one[/link] [link=http://www.thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_details.lasso?id=12179&cat_name=MINI%20E%20REVO]two[/link] <-can that be used with "one" or not? [link=http://www.thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_details.lasso?id=12171&cat_name=MINI%20E%20REVO]six[/link] [link=http://www.thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_details.lasso?id=12253&cat_name=MINI%20E%20REVO]seven[/link] [link=http://www.thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_details.lasso?id=11958&cat_name=MINI%20E%20REVO]eight[/link][link=http://www.thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_details.lasso?id=12299&cat_name=MINI%20E%20REVO]nine[/link] <-how the heck does that work?
Can the motor ever be too cool? Are there any additional ways to cool the ESC besides a fan?
Are aluminum hexes necessary or are they more for show...even though you can't see them?
Some of you may roll your eyes at me for these questions, but if they can get answered, then that would be l33t. [8D]

As far as heat sinks, many people use the Duratrax one. [link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJPU9&P=7]Tower Link[/link] someone correct me if I'm wrong, but believe that's the right one.
Out of yours, I would get either 5 or 7 and use them with the stock heatsink. As far as thermal paste is concerned, IMO, if you are gonna use it, just use [link=http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835100007]Artic Silver 5[/link].
I wouldn't worry about aluminum hexes for this truck. I personally haven't had a problem, and have not read of anyone else having a problem with the stock ones.
Hope that helps..

RE: OFFICIAL MINI E-REVO THREAD!!!
No, a motor can never be too cool. Well, maybe if you are talking about temps below zero, but even then I doubt it.
Does the stock esc have cooling fins? if it does, then a fan is the best way to help the fins dissipate the heat.
