Snipin' Willy did you have to bore through the chassis to mount that battery tray?

Lol, if you buy what I have you wont need it. The chassis kit from RCM comes with everything, it has a steep premium in comparison to the RCBros kit though.

I thought you could buy just the chassis and the pieces you wanted. Aww. Well I suppose I'll just mount this stuff and buy the RCM stuff some other time.

I looked at the Brushless E revo on youtube and that is awesome! Definitely my next truck. will be a long time, but still. Although my T maxx was a pos. My dads revo has been proven reliable. The e revo lost one of the regular revos problems. The shisty (misspelled on purpose) engine. IDK looks sweeeet to me tough.

There are a few.
I used this one (there are many other kits exactly like this one):

I wish I would've used this one:

The RCM kit is the Cadillac of the brushless chassis kits for the CRT.5, imo. I love mine just wish I had more reason to run it.

i've got a spektrum just waiting to go into something like that.
between buying a brushless setup and a conversion for my .5 i'd spend about $280.so for $400 for that is a good deal.

RE: XXXOFFICIAL OFNA CRT.5 THREADXXX
I was wondering if there are any msut have upgrades for this car. I just got the rtr version with the ofna .12. I have enjoyed so far but that is only on pavement since there is snow everywhere. Has anyone had any problems or broken any parts that I could buy now so that when the summer comes I will be ready to rip it up?

RE: XXXOFFICIAL OFNA CRT.5 THREADXXX
The crt.5 is a pretty tough truck straight out of the box so there aren't really any "must have" upgrades imo (it all depends on how you drive)... but... since we're on the subject, I think these are the best to buy:
- Ofna cnc rear hubs
- Ofna cnc front knuckles
- Ofna cnc c-hubs
- Skid plate: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...p?&I=LXSFX5&P=
- Ofna cnc steering assembly (I've never broken the stock one, but a few people I know have)

RE: XXXOFFICIAL OFNA CRT.5 THREADXXX
I would recommend this:
http://www.nitrohouse.com/catalog/pr...ducts_id=12518
It's not necessary, but the stock one is weak. My stock plastic one likes to work loose. Over time they also get bowed and can flex. I'm not a fan of flex in my steering system.
The skid plate linked above is ok. I bought that one and it barely made a season. I bought a metal front/rear skid on ebay thats better. My front needed a skid almost as bad as the back.
There is no way I'd pay ofna prices for their cnc hubs or knuckles. I don't think I've ever broken any of mine. And you can get plenty of plastic ones for the price of the metal. Especially if you buy parts from parted out new trucks on fleabay.
The other weak area is the front upper arm and small metal turnbuckle. If your rc likes to hit stuff or take tumbles, I'd get some extras. You'll lose one here or there.
