Default E-revo sounds like a dirt bike all the sudden...

Driving my E-revo yesterday and all the sudden it sounds like a dirt bike. I thought a stick or something was caught up in it, but I've cleaned it out and it didn't help. I think it might be the transmission. Thoughts on the problem? If it is the trans, should I just drive it until it totally disintegrates?

Sure someone didn't drop a little nitro motor in it while you weren't looking?

I'd take it all down and look at it. If you keep driving it till it is fully broken, you're gonna have to do a tear down anyways.

Yeah, I think I'll tear it down.

Check your pinion/spur mesh. I have heard too tight of a mesh cause noise issues like that. The motor can sometimes slip from a bad landing or a rough crash.
