I have always been a mini freak. There is just something about these cool little trucks, truggies and buggies that I love. I have owned a very high percentage of most of them that have been made. The one problem I have always experience is that most manufactures do not adhere to any kind of rule about size. It would be helpful to all the rest of us if they would. But that is typical that they all want to make some proprietary stuff so yo have to buy from them.

Ok, so enough about my rant. Here is what I am asking of everyone that can contribute to this thread.
I am looking for the best sites that offer the widest variety of truck, truggy and buggy bodies and wheels. We can expand upon this as we go if you like.
I would also like to find out the different ways that wheels are mounted on different vehicles. There will be two main ways. Hex adapters and bare axle with axle pin. So I would be looking for the hex adapter sizes and shaft sizes.
I know that proline makes some great wheels and bodies, but they don't make everything. And HPI makes some great bodies with great decal sets.

I will start off with some main sites. Here you can see that Proline only offers 6 bodies and they bunch it all in one category called "mini, micro and other". Don't they just love us

HPI only offers car bodies in the micro scale unless you guys can find something I couldn't.

Tower has a pretty big selection, but they are listed under "Miscellaneous Scale" Doesn't it bother you guys like it does me, that it seems that no one really takes this micro hobby seriously, or at least won't get it together enough to be able to correctly categorize them.

So, please share all that you can on 1/16 and 1/18 scale bodies and wheels/tires.

17 hits and no replies? Are you guys telling me, you don't know any sources for 1/16 scale bodies, wheels and tires?

Another good topic for this thread would be Body post extensions. That is a good mod for making bodies fit. I remember that BRP made some good body post extensions for micros.

Cool bro,
I just found some body post extensions that are handy in putting bodies on that weren't designed for your model.
