RE: dNaNo Racing
dnano chatter seems pretty quiet over here @ RCU so i figured i'd pop over to fill you in on the latest:
1) there's a new dnano coming out in the winter, the Xanavi Nismo GT-R 2005. specs haven't been released yet, i'll let ya know when i have more or when they've dropped it on their homepage
2) x-power has released several new items including a blank reventon shell, foam racing wheels and racing stickers. the wheels r kinda pricey but justifiably so as their performance is outstanding and they seem to last a long while.
3) we've been working on various mods and customs adding the reventon spoiler to other auto scale bodies and playing with negative camber and toe-out. sometimes it works, most often it doesn't but i've definitely given in to small mods that improve handling.
4) expect 2 new limited edition Reventon colors that will be released in September + the all new XP Radical Black and XTreme motors (one is high speed, the other is ultra high torque). i have the prototypes, have tested them personally and they are INSANE!
for more updates and info, please check out the nanotrax blog occasionally, i update 2-3 times a month with shop activities, new releases and tech articles relative to dnano. i've included a few pics from the blog posts to enjoy here.

RE: dNaNo Racing
I have raced 1/10 pan cars and can say the cost of foam tires could never be more than what you would spend on a dnano along with other parts like front arms bumpers etc..or main chassis if impact is hard eneough. Heck just your transponder alone is 100.00$ decent radio 200.00 min., competitive battery 100.00 lipo charger125.00 min thats 525.00 and you dont even have a car yet or speed control motor combo. I am just getting into the nano scene and cant wait to build my own track in my basement, granted the dnano may not be for every one, but it is for me the body's are waycool and are modeled after a real car the technology it took to manufacturethis scale is kind of like F1 at 1/43 scale,I like the fact I can build my own track and model it after a real track thats a whle other hobby in its self the possibilities are endless, and race on it any time I want and being able toinvite friends over to race andtest and tune. I do see the dnano catching on for one simple reason the size. We are all in the r/c hobby so be postive we all share a common interest, Peace...
