High Speed Pinion (ironic)
Anyone else find it really ironic that the "high speed pinion" is actually a SMALLER pinion, which is actually a LOWER top speed, but more accelleration....??? I realize you're running twice the voltage when using it while running in series, so in the long run it ends up being a faster top speed, I just think it's funny that it's referred to as a high speed pinion.....

RE: High Speed Pinion (ironic)
Its a smaller pinion for a reason. The more volts you put to the motor the faster it spins, and with the stock gearing it will run fairly hot since it's geared tall. On 4s with the stock gearing the motor will end up being too hot and go into thermal cut off. They recomend you use the "High Speed Pinion" so that with 4s lipo your motor will run a little cooler, and not go into thermal cut off.

RE: High Speed Pinion (ironic)
....so with my stock geared pinion with my stock 55t spur, running a lipo 1600 3s/11.1 volts Hyperion on a mamba micro pro 8000kv what number "high speed pinion" would you recommend to keep my motor from going into thermal cut off? Perhaps, switching my 55t gear as well??? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
