Default 1/18 Losi Mini-Slider (brushless)

I bought one of these used with lots of hop-ups.
Bearings, oil filled shocks, upgraded diff, upgraded slipper & spur.

I put my Quark Pro brushless ESC, Dynamite 9200kv motor & 2S LiPo.

This thing was insane. Blew the rubber off the rim. (Yes it was originally glued on.) Had a lot of fun but this motor is way to much power for this little slider. [>:][&:]

I tried getting some video but the battery was dead on the camera.

They're a blast, I luv mine too but I think you had about twice as much motor as is practical

Yeah - definately don't need all that motor. I was going to try 3S LiPo but since couldn't get the video, figure maybe next time.

Actually it is the 22amp Pro ESC.

I hope to get some cideo with both the 2S and 3S before I down grade the motor. Will most likely put my Hacker 13t motor in it after getting the video. The 9200kv motor is insane. Very hard to control.
I have ran my Mini-t with the Mamba 8000kv motor many times and it was easier to control than this was.
Maybe if I do sometuning and fix the slop in the steering it will be easier to drive. Also need better tires. The rubber came unglued from the rims.

That's not a tire (or rim) issue, that's a TOOMUCHPOWER issue.

The original tires are pretty soft though, so you might want to pick up a set of a harder compound than the stock Street Treads (and won't ballon as readily).
LOSB1166 - Rear, or even the LOSB1183 - Rear, are a better option for parking lot blasting ~~ and match up quite well with the new harder compound LOSB1172 -Fronts.
