RE: traxxas mini e-revo brushed
some people prefer brushed over brushless no matter the preformance you know. also the plan would be to throw the 1/10th VXL in it with the BB motor mount. why buy the 380 vxl when it is going to taken off anyways?

maybe 20-30mph? I dunno. I'm clueless on electric stuff.
I had to settle for the brushed version myself cause everywhere is sold out of the VXL version. [:@]

the way i see it is my rc18t with the DTX 1600 7.2V 2/3A NiMH and SP19 Stump Puller motor does a good 25 - 30 mph easy, so with double the voltage i would believe its ATLEAST some where near 40 right?

RE: traxxas mini e-revo brushed
You might double check but I read that the brushed version ESC can't handle two batteries in series or at least not two Lipos in series. As the stock ESC was burning up. Again, I have not seen this but have read other threads about this. So you might check on that.
I bought a used VXL mini-Revo recently for $190, saved $100. It had a few scratches and is all stock. I've ran two Traxxas standard batteries in series and the brushless motor gets pretty warm after a few minutes.

The brushed version is an awesome deal because you can throw out the ESC and motor and put a better brushless system in it than the VXL system. And if your a Tower club member, like I am, you can get the brushed Revo for $150 shippped. I would use the money saved and put it towards a Mamba Max Pro ESC and a Neu motor.
