Hi All

I just decided to go buy a micro-t... I was bored and it was only $80 so I said what the heck!
it works great,,but the battery only lasts up to 10mins tops.. the hobbyshop tried selling me a lipo battery+charger for $50.. but to me its nuts to spend $50 on a battery for an $80 truck..

So.. I am looking to find a cheap nimh battery with more mah. the stock one is 150mah.. I found this one its 300mah,, same volts..

does anyone know if it will fit? it's a very cheap way to add runtime..

not sure if it will work, but it shouldnt cost more than $10-$15 to get another stock battery off ebay.
even tho the lipo costs alot, it almost doubles the speed AND runtime over the stock battery. those things will pull mad wheelies on lipo.

the lipo cost kills me tho..$50+++ for a cheap $80 toy!! is lipo worth it ? if the truck let u swap out the batts eaisly id just buy two or 3 normal batts..but they are screwed in...

how long of runtime do u get on lipo?

I wish they had it in store at Radioshack,, so I could return it, if it does not fit..
I might take a drive down to radioshack and see what they have in stock.. some cordless phone batteries are the same size and voltage so they may fit too..

Found this battery that WILL Fit, and I Confirmed with the company.. They said it will be snug but will fit..

its 7.4v 230mah!! 50mah more than the stupid losi one..

The search is over.. that battery works awesome..it literally doubled my power, speed and runtime.. The truck can do wheelies now!

it does make the motor run hot so give it a break every 5mins or so.. I am getting 15-20mins runtime now..maybe more..
