Turnigy 1/16th Buggy Build
1 Attachment(s)
Just picked this up the other day and tore it down shortly after. I also painted the new body that night. Waiting for more parts to come in at this point but here it is at mock up stage. (By the way its not a Mini 8ight, it's a Turnigy 1/16 4wd buggy)
Here's where its at so far Attachment 2235919 http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...P1010035-1.jpg Still have to fab up a new chassis to fit the new body. I have some new wheels on the way and some driveline pieces on the way. Going to figure out electronics once I'm done with the chassis. |

RE: Turnigy 1/16th Buggy Build
what your plans to make it stronger/better?
I had the onroad (rally) version and it was fast for the cash but handled HORRIBLE. I could have messed with it but instead I just sold it. Never had a onroad flip over or have so much trouble going in a straight line. The buggy version may be different, IDK. With the new body, are you making a longer custom chassis? Are you keeping the stock BL system? My motor got fairly hot on 3s. |
