Converting a Kyosho Mini-z MA-020S to fit a MZP150W-B Porsche 911 GT3 RS Body
Lets try this again....
I found a video on youtube of something doing this same thing correctly. He put a MZP150W Body, and a MA020s Chassis. I asked him about this with no reply. So what im trying to accomplish is putting a MINI-Z (MZP150W 2WD) Porsche 911 GT3 RS body on a MINI-Z MA020S (AWD) chassis. Thanks in advanced |
How did you go? Did it fit?
If both the chassis share the same wheelbase and track I don't think it would be hard to jerry rig something? |
I haven't started the project yet. Being I don't want to start purchasing everything I "think" is needed and end up with a bunch of extras I don't need/want.
This is what Im trying to accomplish |
ahhh....right.... good luck man, i wish i could help more, but the chances of someone telling u exactly how to do it and what parts you need seem very slim. it looks like a custom build and the owner may be reluctant to share?

I ask the person in the video about fitting the body on the chassis, to my surprise he replied back the next day and said the body was a direct fit. And IT IS!!!!
The only issue i has with the rear wheels needed an offset to "fit" the body correctly. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rcu...a3467a9e30.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rcu...e353bad093.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rcu...013762dc23.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rcu...fa622b9775.jpg |
Now, the next things I want to know if anyone has any advice on is the steering of the MA020s chassis. I had a good amount os slop before I upgrade the steering arm to aluminum. But the steering still feels like its "sticking" after turning. Any suggestions?
