Hey guys just got this in yesterday i made my micro t into a DT and couldnt be happpier i also installed the new brushless system. im running a ds 285 servo with custom servo arm. this little truck is super fast and fun to drive.

50 bucks for the bl motor and esc.. youll need a new receiver and servo, possibly the controller unless u can find a 27mhz am receiver.. and horizon has it all in stock.

why would you have to get new servos, and reciever, and everything? because the circuit board was all in one? do you need anything if you buy the losi lipo pack?

the unit that comes on the truck is a 4 wire system. you would have to do major circuit brd surgery to get it to accept a servo. after that it would really be useless and take up space because you need the brushless speed control. the lipo pack is just what it is a battery and charger. it just has to be stripped. its a pretty easy mod but costs more than the truck did.

I knew the DT chassis was longer than the Micro-t/b chassis but wow I didnt know it was that much longer! Theres plenty of room there to fit some nice electronics on.

thtas a hell of a lot of wires, i would rather stick with a lipo, and BB motor

well well well junky well be shootin some vid and radaring today if it doesnt rain anymore. chargin the lipo right now. youll have ta show me how to post the vid im a lamo on that one.

what did you run with your motor and whta size did you buy???? Like what upgrades do you have on your micro ????

so to convert to the DT did you just buy the wheels/tires and chassis? everything else converted over?

you also need the front shock tower but you dont need the wheels/tires but they look nice and make it ride higher because the tires are bigger and you need the body too
