Try considering ebay! Just recently I had my eyes on a Xray M18 kit NIB sold for like 50USD! There are always MRS4s on ebay as well. Heres the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...#ht_500wt_1008

Right on, however the problem with ebay is that you have to be really on it, opportunistic because you may never know when the same or better deal may come up!

@ Go-Zilla you got a sweet collection of motors there, do you still own them? Im leaning towards a mamba micro pro powered by 2-3c LiPos. I will definately keep up with pics and will post a video of the car running!

LOL thx. Yes I still own all of them, and that is only half of my collection. I also have C4, Permax, AON trust, Hyperion long & short can, Hacker-knock-off, etc. Collecting BL motors and trying out the differences is part of my hobby with the minis.

BBP probably has the best price (the link I sent you previously), I ordered couple of my ESC from them before. Yes, please keep us posted with photos or video ok !! The best would be showing us the video about yours beating up your buddy's 540 motor hands down !

Woohoo Bashing On Buddy !

Are quark ESCs compatible with mambas? Thinking of going overkill and running a 4-5s LiPo in a brushless exeliron or mamba.

Yes, but if you are thinking 4-5s you might be needing a mamba 1/10 BL instead. Don't want to overheat the BL. I did it once, no fun. Either no power from the BL motor, or in my case the BL locked up. Overload the ESC and made the ESC caught fire. Not to mention burnt chassis, body, etc. Expensive repair. [:o]

Could I also use a 1/10 ESC on a micro motor?
