COX #2675 Cylinder & Piston
Will a #2675 Cylinder and Piston used on a Sandblaster Car using a 190-9
engine work on a Babe Bee, or a Surestart? Did this Cyl/Piston combo use some sort of a throttle? My hunch or should I say wish is that it will work with these engines. For what it's worth, does this Cyl/Piston set have SPI or no SPI?
Hope that one of you COX Engine experts have some answers for me.

The base threads on the cyl. are all the same, so it will fit...and work, on the Baby Bee and SS.
Don't recall if the Sandblaster had throttle...might have been a set-up similar to the Dune Buggy or Baja Bug...a lever you rotate by hand (with detents ) to open or restrict the exh.?
Best way to tell if it has SPI is to put that sleeve and piston assembly on your case, turn it over, and have a look.

I had one when i was a kid , and kept it in ok condition. My sons however , had no mercy on it so all i have left it the rear mechanics of it. the engine most definately has a detente style throttle on it.

RE: COX #2675 Cylinder & Piston
Thanks to all of you fellows who replied to my inquiry about the COX #2675 cylinder. I'm probably going to buy one with hopes that it will work on a Babe Bee engine that I am playing with to try to do some throttling.
If it is essentially similar to a stock BB cylinder I'll have a new one to work with so I can use it on a small air boat and or a plane.
